Mintex brake pads

MINTEX developed a precise proportioning steel fibre reinforcing the coherence of the various components and offer a higher mechanical resistance. The brass and copper fibres get the level of friction and a perfect lubrication when the brakes reach the very high temperatures. It results from it a better performance, more power, and more endurance.
What allures so much the pilots, it is a good " grip ", speed of the answer  (weak travel of the pedal), the constancy of the pressure necessary on the pedal, and the absence of fading. Moreover, they appreciate much that there is neither metal deposit on the discs.

M 1144 quality: Mainly used for fast road use and is primarily targeted at hot hatch drivers. Constant level of friction in a large range of temperature.

M 1155 quality: A unique formulation enabling use at temperatures up to 700°. Gives first time braking with no special bedding requirements.

M 1166 quality: Originally developed for circuit raçing, this material has a stable coefficient of friction up to 800°C  used extensively in group A rallying.

Assembly notice
1- During the replacement of the discs  brakes, also replace the pads.
2- Before the discs reassembly, it is essential to clean well and degrease the discs faces. Degrease the new discs.
3- Check using a comparator the perfect contact of the faces discs/hub.
4- Chamfer the edges of the new pads.
5- Replace the brake fluid. (Caution, some brake fluids are not miscible !)
6- it is imperative to respect a minimal break-in period of 300 kms.
